Hi,
Weve just been given a 150W offline 115-265vAC SMPS to fix.....its mains filter has about six of these 220nF ceramics instead of box film X2's
Are these caps X2 rated?

CAN21X224KARAC7800

..datasheet doesnt say they are

Also, there is a 1uF, 450V 5750 soft termination ceramic MLCC just after the mains bridge.......its footprint is the two lands, which are only 0.55mm by 2.5mm....surely 0.55mm is too thin?......or do soft termination ceramics need thin pads?

X2's are required to be 2.5kV peak rated and to be self healing ( as they are across the mains )

The Kemet ones above don't quite get there - but would be OK to use after a suitably rated fuse
