Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight in the difference between two types of terminations for SMD Multilayer ceramic capacitors.

AT Ceramics offers either "Solder Plate" or "Tin over Nickel". From my limited experience, Tin over Nickel is the usual type of termination. Does anyone know what is different with "solder plate"-terminations?

And if you were to chose, what does this implicate with regards to the mounting on your PCB?

Thank you for you help,
Alex
