Hi all,

I need some information on snmp and its uses. I'm working on managing a device by internet. I've studied and finally I've realized that I need to use snmp in the application layer and udp in transport layer. please correct if I'm wrong.
I also need to know that do I need an html file for the user interface for the snmp?

Regards,

SNMP is simple network management protocol. The protocol and the suggested infrastructure are documented in several internet RFCs.
