simulation inverter with simulink
ok so you simulate inverter with simulink?
but no simulator can really simulate a large inverter circuit.
cuzz it takes too long.
so you have to make up blocks of math equations and simulate these.
but how do you know whether or not these blocks are true to your real life inverter?
you dont...unless you do loads and loads of verification testing....and then if you modify your inverter a bit, you have to re-verify all over again.
and how did you do the expression for the feedback loop....did you use state space or the PWM switch loop model........?
...why do you want to simulate?
who is going to take all the time to look at your results and verify that your simulation is true to the real thing.
My sales manager says simulation is just computer games for engineers.....and maybe he's right....i've never known a company who really worked off simulations.....and usually the simulation only gets finalised after the product has gone to market and is on the shelves.
mini- 5minute simulations of subcircuits are good to see if you made a mistake wiring it up.....but simulating a switcher?....if it was worth it then surely more places would do it
