Simulation tools for PIC 16F877A

i am using pic 16F887A for my project. i wrote the program in c language using ccs compiler. i compiled the program. There is no syntax error in it. bit i need to check logical error.is there any simulation tool available for pic 16f887a? can i check my program before downloading it to my PIC 16f877a IC??

I work with mikroe applications and I write code in c or in basic. It's wanderfull. You have a lot of usefull tools to creste and debug your software.

I know maybe it is late to ansewr this quastion , by the way you can use oshonsoft application this application is simple but very useful oshonsoft has a good visuial interface but if you need too check as profeshional programer you must use microchip software , this software available as free on microchip website ,this software exactly good for programing in basic , c and pascal language and also has a gui for checking your application and check your program.

I suggested from my experience and I am at a hobby level. I do use MPLAB simulator too but have to practice it seriously. I take your suggestion. Thanks.

I never used simulate tool for µC. Is it useful ?
Can anyone give a short example of where a such tool is very practice ?
Does Proteus ISM is a free tool ?
What about MPLAB simulator, is it integrated with MPLAB IDE ?

suggest to use Proteus VSM ,there are many devide included in their library.
