[SOLVED] simplest delay device

i need a delay device such that i give it the required time as input and it produces the output delay as required
further the circuit needed is economical and as small as possible may be a single IC, will be best?
 

This is the sort of task that's a perfect fit for the PIC10F200 microcontroller.

It's tiny (about 3mm x 3mm) and costs about $0.30 in quantity. No external components required.

is there such type of micro controller available in Pakistan?
