Hello Friends,

I am not a PCB designer.

In the image attached, I understand that the left most VIA (looking like a '+' symbol) and the right bottom VIA are connected to the plane. My question is : Why is there a + symbol for the left most VIA?

I got it. It's a VIA, also a thermal pad. Hence, it has excess copper.Anyways, Thanks Kick

No its not a VIA, its a pad with thermal relief on it (way too much). If it was a via then it would have no need of thermal relief.
