Simple question

i have a data of the electric and magnetic field at one end of a fiber.
how do i calculate the power?

Simple question

from Poynting theorem, you can calculate the Poynting vector and integral over the end of the fiber surface.

Poynting vector=E (cross) H
Power flowing through a surface=integral over the surface (Poynting vector)

hope that helped.
