dear all
can we design inverter by
a oscillator then to step up transformer.
oscillator operates at 12V DC and generates sine wave of 2Vpp having 60Hz.
 

cetrainly you can - you just need a sine-wave generator [and transformer]

what is the desired output current
 

yes, this is important thing
it just was my thinking I am not making such thing.
If we need 5A, what would e the size of transformer.
