SIM900D not working with some SIM card operators (it works with SIM340D)

Hi all,

I am facing a problem related with different SIM card operators.
I was using the SIM340D and since it is not being produced anymore I replaced it with the SIM900D.
With some SIM card operators the SIM900D can dial a number with no problem, but with others when the command ATD is issued the Modem just freeze and not answer anymore.

PS: With the SIM340D it works fine for all SIM card operators.

Hi all,

I found the problem.
It is a bug in the SIM900D software.
I just updated the firmware.

where did you get the firmware upgrade from? I'm facing the same problem.
