sim900a AT-commands facing problem

Hi all,

Am facing a problem with AT-commands ----sim900a gsm module.

AT+SAPBR=1,1 must get OK response but am getting ERROR ,if i reboot the device twice or thrice then the same code gives AT+SAPBR =1,1 as OK response..why is this behavior.

Secondly AT+FTPGET=1 after this command we must receive response as +FTPGET:1,1 i.e data is pending, but am not getting the response AT+FTPGET=1 fails,here for different sim networks if we increase or decrease the GSM wait response delay(i.e for uninor sim we decrease the delay and for Vodafone we increased the delay) than we are getting +FTPGET:1,1 so, exactly how much time we must wait for response after AT+FTPGET=1 command.

use 2 ms delay b/w sending character like 'a' 2ms delay 't' 2ms delay '+'.......bcz modem response as echo so some time problems on short delay
