sim300d power

we are to use 4 sim300d modules in each board to be powered by a wall wart adapter. i am to tasked to design a power supply for this. i thought of using a regulator but am very much confused with the 2A burst.

if we were to use 4 modules, is putting load capacitors before each module sufficient for this?

but to make sure, I am planning to use a 4.2V @ 2A regulator (and im stil looking for one). or maybe you can recommend any SWITCHING regulator to this design?

your help will be very much appreciated. thanks.
