SILVACO ATLAS tunneling query

I have been using SILVACO ATLAS to simulate a new sort of tunnel diode and I am kind of in a mess right now and I will really appreciate it if any one of you can help me out - the structure that I am using consists of an AlAs barrier surrounded by GaAs. Now I want to incur the SIS.EL tunnelling on this structure and no matter what I do I am gettin a "Process interrupted by signal SEGV" error. But whenever I remove the SIS.EL statement, the error does not appear anymore. Moreover, I am required to define a QTREGION in order to use the SIS.EL model but can anyone tell me the right format for the QTREGION? I would appreciate any sort of help from anyone.
