Hello guys, I have a Raspberry PI, L293D and a stepper motor. In order to drive the stepper motor, the raspberry PI will generate signal to the motor driver to drive the stepper motor. But what kind of signal is given to the driver? It is step and direction in PWM form or any other? If I wanted to simulate the signal to the motor driver in Simulink, what can I do? Thanks.

Hi,

What ingredients do you need to bake a cake: You first need to decide what cake you want to bake, then look for the according recipe.

The same is with the driver signals:
First decide wich driver hardware you want to use, then look into it's datasheet.
