Should reset pin of BU2507FV DAC have a cap attached to it?

Hello,
Our software engineer has simply put a 100n cap on the reset pin of the BU2507FV DAC chip. Is this OK?....surely it needs to be a digital input.?

The datasheet says there is a 25K ohm resistor pullup on that pin, so yeah it can work, but it only gets a reset once at powerup and can't be reset any other way besides cycling power. Not the best design practice.
