DC Powerline

Dear all,

Somebody experience with modulating data (ASK, FSK,....) communication on a 2-wire DC power bus (ex. 10V)?
The goal is to setup a bi-directional data communication interface of min 10kbs over a total distance of max. 1km between a master device and several slave devices.

I want to make use of standard industrial components (opamps, mosfets, ...) and not of dedicated powerline devices or others.

All ideas and experiences are welcome
