dear all
I have a equipment with serial out for printer.
serial printers are obsolete in the markeet with A4 size paper.
I need to reed this data in PC and then print this data from any other printer.

can any one suggest me some software utility for this purpose.
regards
Shahbaz

a serial to usb converter may help.
then an usb printer can be connected to your equipment.

the serial to usb converter , even if available , may not be suitable in this situation , i guess.

you have lot of usb2serial but not viceversa.
With the available converters , one have to experiment with the print-out.

Hi,

you need a software for a PC to parse the serial data stream and generate a new printable document from that.

Then first you need to know the language of the serial datastream.
Often a simple ESC/P from EPSON is used. --> https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESC/P
