sending image from pc to sim900

hello guys i need a small help from you.
i am doing my minor project on facial recognition and mms based home security system...
according to the project when an intruder comes under the camera, the camera captures an image and the image is to be somehow sent to the sim900
to mms the admin..........
now m nt understanding the part about how to send image from program of my pc to sim900.......
plz guys help me !!!!!!!!!!!

its not a lie.......
m an electronics third year student and i have my minor project to be submitted within a month..........
i have completed the facial recognition part n hav to complete the sim900 part now......

sending bitmap image from pc to sim900

hi there,
does anyone know how to send a bitmap image from computer to sim900 directly??????
or cant we do that??
plzz help its urgent for me......

You can do that but not at once, you will have to send the file in packets. (Read SIM900 datasheet for further details)
Also SIM900 must be connected to network and uploading on some server, otherwise there is no point in sending the packets to sim900.

you can send the image file to SIM900 on serial port of course but not all at once(unless your image size is very small). you will have to send the file in packets and each packet will be individually sent to the network.
please consult SIM900 datasheet for further details on these topics >TCP/IP Application toolkit >AT+CIPSEND

i have to send a bitmap image to sim900 from a pc and the sim900 then has to mms it to a number......
would you like to tell me in detail what things are needed and the way manipulating them??

its obviously good to use sim900 for mms sending purpose than sim306
because sim900 supports upto 300kb of mms while sim306 supports only 60 kb of mms data.....
