Hi,

I am getting data of 9 bits from range sensor.

I can transfer only 1 byte(8 bits) of data at a time.

So, how can I transfer 9 bits of data like 8bits one time and another 8 bits another time

Thanks in advance

You only transmit fixed-length data. If you need to transmit 9 bits, then you are going to have to transmit two bytes with the second byte containing 7 dummy bits.
