Hi, Now its time for me to buy hall effect sensor, but bit confused which one to buy. My project is to find the accurate position of ball valve, for this i have attached small shaft with ring magnet, now want to measure the position of the ball valve as it rotates. so please suggest me which hall sensor is effective (it must have operating temp of 200°C).

thanq

There are single chip Hall encoder available for 125 degree ambient. You may need to validate that the chip temp does not go above 150. Here you find several application and resolution up to 12 bit and more:https://www.ichaus.biz/appnote_magneticsensors .

Enjoy your design work!
