I'm new in PBP and Proteus, kindly check
my drawing and codes attached. "Testing LCD" is not displaying,
please guide me.

Hi,

RA4 is an open drain output. So a pull-up resistor (10k would work) must be added between RA4 and Vcc.

Depending on how you got your LCD configured if that's ok then tie the RW pin to ground on LCD

or if your new to PBP and ISIS by the looks of it and you brought the softawre you can ask here

use another pin or use a pull up.


LCD will work do not worry.


Added after 8 minutes:

joseph degorio first you must initialise the lcd

and then send data to the lcd

how many bit the data, cursor and etc.
