schematic editor grid settings!!!

there seems to be some problem in the grid settings when i work in my cadence schematic editor (VSE). everytime i have to change the grid snap spacing to half of the previous value......is there any way I can modify .cdsinit file to make the changes permenant ???

Did you try Save Defaults in Options menu on icfb window?
