Schematic Editor for Spartan Family

The latest version of Xilinx that support Spartan is 4.2i Sprtan4k.exe. However, Schematic editor for Spartan is not supported. Third party tools are required to accomplish design entry using this software.
I am trying to install Xilinx Foundation 2.1i on Pentium 4 PC, but I am not able to do so. It gives error with win98 Win2000 and winXP.
Can any one help me solving this problem?
I am not sure if Foundation 3.x has schematic editor for Spartan. If so , where can I get this software?

Sorry, I can't help you in finding the software.
I just want to comment that your problem is exactly one of the biggest problems in schematic entry in logic design (vs. HDL): software dependence.
