Does anybody know the salary range for an engineer- with Masters
and 2.5 years of experience - in Japan?

Also is mdeical insurance expensive?

Hi,

It depends, on how you are employed. Usually people come thru some agency or parent company and the net you might get will be around 3,50,000 yen per month. Also it depends on company profile and requirements.

On a rough scale , you might get around 500,000 Yen per month if directly employed

Medical will be below 30,000 yen per month from seond year. first year it will be cheaper. You will get 70 % from medical.
