calibre command line

Hi,

I would like info on running the calibre drc and lvs commands from the command line thru UNIX.

Also, wht is the difference when u do a hierarchial drc and jus a drc?
i mean, difference b/w "calibre -hier -drc" and "calibre -drc"?

Please help...

command line calibre

Hello,

calibre -hier -drc : performs hierarchial design rule checking by maintaining the database
hierarchy to reduce processing time, memory usage, and DRC result counts. Calibre DRC-H
imposes no design restrictions on shapes overlapping cell placements, or overlaps of cell
placements.

calibre -drc: performs flat design rule checking by reading the database flat and
operating on the resultant flat shapes.

Hope this helps you.

calibre drc

Thanks...

Are any documents available on running the drc and lvs commands thru unix?

calibre lvs command line

Hello,

If you are using calibre then you shall be having Calibre userguide and standard verification rule format document(which come alongwith the tool license), which will help you in understanding the commands as well the DRC/LVS/ERC flow methodologies.
