rs232 voltage levels calculation

The RS232 level converter is converting the TTL to RS232 levels depending upon the capacitors charge..
I want to know how to calculate the capacitor value for the RS232 to get the RS232 voltage levels.
In some cases RS232 voltage levels are +/-3 to +/- 25, in some cases some say +/-3 to +/- 15...
which is the correct voltage level....
And tell me how to calculate the capacitor value for achieving those higher voltages.

Check datasheet of your IC, that is where everything can be found and reliable.

can u tell me what voltage levels are used inside our PC ?
our microcontroller is using TTL logic levels i.e. 0 - 5v. like wise how PC is using..
 

That depend on the UART being used, and then motherboard voltages.
