can some one share his knowledge about the differnt low cost RF modules which i can use for communication over the distance of one Km ,
destination is not at line of sight.

Communication to a distance more than 1Km which is NOT a line of sight, natuarlly requires more power with matched antennas, and in India transmitting more than 0.5 watts except for educational purpose or remote controls, is illegal and you are governed by Wireless planning and co-ordination New Delhi.
 

All right, but who said the guy above is from India? There are countries where even 1W without license is permitted.
