Thermal Analyzer is used to calculate and present thermal effects generated by components on the board. It is a remarkable tool for graphically evaluating the temperature distribution on a finished PCB, at steady state condition. The analysis may be done with the parameters set to appropriate values. The result of the analysis may be displayed using isotherms or color mapping scheme.
The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry has long been interested in the fundamental properties of the base laminate materials. Interest has generally focused on those properties which reflect processability or long term reliability. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the laminate is often used as the primary indicator of thermal stability by PCB manufacturers and end users. However, TG is only one measure of a laminate's thermal performance and, when taken by itself, can lead to a false sense of security on the part of the end user.
if its works for plz click on "Helped" .............ok
I am using EDWinXP for my design purpose. It consists of Electromagnetic Analyzer
and Thermal Analyzer for designers to verify there design
It's a very powerful software for Thermal Analysis ......and u can use the following link for more Thermal Analysis softwares.u can use the pdf file for ur help visit **broken link removed**
