The thing is, I never really heard about these packages. it seem PLCC like stuff but I haven't been able to find any sockets for it 8 pins chips. I did with success also by soldering some resistors wires of the same size, and putting it then into a standard dip socket, but that's not "industry handle" !

I have used several. Very often, PLCC sockets will work for LCC. Check with Emulation Technologies for sockets.
