Dear all,

I have read that one of the major advantages of high frequency apps is that a high bitrate is achievable.

So if i have a TX-RX system working at 30GHz, and 5% bandwidth (ie.1.5GHz), does this mean that my max achievable bitrate is 1.5Gbps? Is the relationship so direct, or is there a more complex formulation to it?

Pls advise...
Thank you all!

they r same u r saying rite

So if they are the same, can i say that these systems are actually limited by the bandwidth which the system is capable of?

Hence, low frequency systems have lower bandwidth because a 5% of, say, a 3GHz system, is only 150MHz => 150Mbps Max. Pls correct me if i am wrong.

Additionally, what is the bandwidth of a typical system, say Wi-fi?...
