Related to usage of IPS

Hi

I am a new user of IPS, last night the elements which had line with IPS were not acting properly, what I mean is until I switched on any fans the lights were getting electricity properly, but when I switched on any fans, all the electrical elements were working for 40 seconds, then the all electrical elements were stopping (like load shedding) for 3 seconds, then again started for 40 seconds then again stopped working.................it was continuing until I closed the IPS connection. AND the IPS was getting hot and were making a little continuous sound. When I closed the IPS connection the electrical elements which were connected to IPS were not getting electricity, but there was electricity, rather then those elements, the rest electrical elements which have no connection with the IPS was working well.
N.B. The IPS is brand new.

Why it happened? Does anyone got any idea about it? Please share.

I presume that your "IPS" is my "UPS" Uninterruptible Power Supply. If the UPS is cycling on and off it is overloaded, getting hot, switching off, cooling down, switching on again. . .

Dear chuckey

I did the procedure you mentioned, but it didn't worked. My electrician (who fixed it) told that its was related to a cut out and then he fixed it and worked, but I can't relate the cut out with UPS or IPS.
