Regarding thermocouple

Hi All,

I have one JK thermocouple and I need to read the value with 2 controllers. Is it possible to connect one thermocouple to two measurement controllers? If not, is it possible at all? If yes, what circuitry I need to use?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Regarding thermocouple

Hi microchaos,

It maynot be easy to connect a thermocouple to two systems since you have to use cold junction compensation and all those stuffs. One method you can use is connect the amplified analog output of the thermocouple to the ADC input of the controllers.
