Regarding reserved pin in an IC

Assume that a certain pin in an IC package is reserved. Then how will the pad corrresponding to that pin be configured..??
 

It should say in the data sheet whether to leave it not connected or connect it to ground or supply?
 
We have this thread earlier, better search existing thread first.


Read manufacturers datasheet, they says NC for that pin, this pins are for future usage, but this particular IC what zou have now dont use it.

Sometimes (I say "sometimes") this pins can be used for help in heat drainage from IC.
