PCI vs USB

good day

as a grad student ive been assigned a small research paper describing USB versus PCI. can anyone suggest certain papers or any other reference that i could get via the internet for no cost. papers could be general overview of either USB or PCI or possibly more in depth. i am currently an engineer/student working in antennas/microwaves and have had little exposure to the above topic. any help would be appreciated.
