Recommend references about class D amplifier

Hi,
I would like to study about class D amplifier and it design. Any recommend books or thesis? typically, IEEE journals require some knowleges so it is a bit hard to start with. Other technical papers I found on the web (ie. from TI, Analog device..etc) typially give me rough idea and mostly about board level designs..
