Hi guys!

I've just purchased 2 cordless doorbells off ebay (as you do)

with the intention of converting them into things that send a signal when a doors opened (like when someone comes in a shop)

What would be the easiest way to do this?

Im thinking magnets and (is it?) reed switch???

Thanks for any answers.

Regards.

Magnetic switches are the most common way to sense door openings. These are used in simple user installed burglar alarms.
