Hi,I want to read data from this keyboard in proteus with atmega32 . can somebody help me?
I use codevision to programming.
the keyboard is named 'keyboard at' in proteus library.
dear this keyboard makes a grid of 22x6.
whenever you hit a key, corresponding point in the grid will be high.
you have to read each point in the grid.
This is a PC-like matrix keyboard that you surelly will not find in real world. In addition to use a high number of the uC pins, another drawback is the colum length, which requires a lot of core processing to scan it, unless you have a dedicated peripheral specifically designed for it. In shorts, if you do not want to make a firmware for your own PC-style keyboard, it is usefull just for playing on simulator.
