U can use some Zigbee modules (IEEE 802.15.4 standard) with speed of 250kbps? for example, Xbee from digi, nrf from microchip or cc2420 from TI...

thanks, i know that. but i want to design one myself, i want to learn how to design transmitter and receiver for 2.4ghz band.
any help would be appreciated

i want to design a single channel 2.4ghz transmitter and receiver, i'll be using two pic uC, one at the receiver end to generate the controlling PWM, and another at transmitter end which will transmit PWM information. i know there are VCO available for doing this, but i want to design it myself

the above is first phase, in the second phase i will be designing power amplifier for it.
