Quistion about the drain current of the enhancment mosfet

hi all
in the enhancment only
i am puzzeld in the equations of the drain current in the p and n types equations and the direction of the obtained results from the equations
so please if any one can type to me the equations of Id of the n and p channel mosfet and type the direction of the result if it is from the drain to source or from source to drain
that is all
and sorry for the long message

N-type - current flows from drain to source
id=kn[(Vgs-Vtn)^2] is used when in saturation.
id=Kn[2(Vgs-Vtn)Vds-Vds^2 is used when in linear.

P-type - current flows from source to drain?
id=Kp[2(Vsg-Vtp)Vsd-Vsd^2 is used when in linear.
id=kp[(Vsg-Vtp)^2] is used when in saturation.

Any more help?

Read the Sedra & Smith's book on microelectronic circuits.

There is nothing 4 confuse yaar..
In NMOS carrier flow is fro S to D and so curr direction is fro D to S...
But in PMOS since the carriers are holes th curr direction is same as th carrier direction..
