hi can anyone please help me with the tested code for 4x4 matrix keyboard? i have it with if statement.
it would be better if i can use for statement so i can compress the code..

I don't understand how you intend to replace the "if" statements with "for" and you didn't post your code either.

you can use PROTIUS simulator for testing the circuit.... can you post your program

protius is a simulation software for embeded systems.... after you install you can create a 4*4 matrix key boad and select a micro controller you want to program and test your program line by line.
