as we know, in many circuits, there exist switch noise, and it will make a normal signal have a sudden change in some extent, and in some cases, it will degrade the circuit performance severely. therefore, we want to decrease switch noise in circuit and layout design. are there any effective methods for decreasing switch noise in circuit and layout design? does anyone have some advice or guidelines?
Are you talking switching charge injection? That wants
minimum Cgs/Cgs (small) devices, though your on resistance
will suffer. Compensating the charge injection by using
complementary N/P switches, possible explicit comp elements
can knock it down by a decade or more. Timing of the
switches to avoid both cross-conduction and gross open
time (so that the amp does not begin to slew against an unknown
input value with no feedback) is also important.
