Other than Solaris offcourse most EDa companies are supporting red Hat enterprise release 3

I've tried RHEL3 and can support most EDA tools. And many EDA companies became to supply their products base on RHEL3. RHEL3's installation is also very convenient. It's support almost popular hardwares.
