I have a Question,
there is a filter with an L dB rejection at an W2 Frequency.
If We Cascade Two of them with similar characteristic (ideally) what is the Rejection on W2 Frequency?
Thanks

Re: Cascade of Filters

L1[dB]+L2[dB]
In your case ≈ 2L[dB]

Re: Cascade of Filters

Only in the case when a matching attenuator, or a separating amplifier give the two filters (nearly) matched terminations!
