Is there anybody applying wavelet theory in real-world product?

Curious.
 

"Real world product"
Well we have compression and feature extraction
in Digital Images which are used in (DSP Processors) DIGITAL CAMERAS which is surely a real world product.

its also used in fingerprint recognition and there is the picture standart jpeg 2000 which uses wavelets. the rest is in progress... :)

remember whatever forier do wavelet can do better.
