Hi,
I need to design a filter which can attenuation to below 40dB in a range of about 10Mhz.
For the consideration of the speed, I want to use the current mode continuous filter.
But I do not know can it accomplish this task. Can the current mode filter do that?
Which type of filter can do it best?
Current mode operation is mostly assigned to nonlinear or nonfiltering circuits. Filters have to have energy storage elements. Capacitors are prefered. Filter state information is voltage for this case. The filter state change is by currents. These are implemented by passive resistors or active Gm cells.
