question about interfacing between PLC and MICrocontroller

I want to Know how the Microcontrollers can interface with PLC and communicate with it to transfer data between them.
Please, if there are a project about this topic please tell me.

Hii,

I did the interfacing between PLC and microcontroller. I use LG PLC series Master K

and Microcontroller Basic Stamp series BS2P. At first i wanna communicate using

standar serial UART 232, but I tried to find the ladder function of this but i didn't

find it. So I did it with my way. I use Parallel interfacing ( not port parallel) but it

means it share I/O condition between PLC and Microcontroller.

example like this : my microcontroller gather sensor which require ADC for read

(because PLC with analog control is very expensive). And the micro process all the

reading and conversion and send the result to the PLC by Low or high condition in

one of the PLC I/O which will be check by PLC in ladder function.

Thank you for replying on the topic but, i want to transfer Character data such as message between MCU and PLC
