Hi all,

originally i used one switch to make my boost converter ( below pic)

part1.jpg

however the efficiency is too low because of the diode voltage drop, so i used a pmos to replace it

but afterwards the current becomes so low , the current waveform of PMOS switch is attached, the current range is from 500m to -500m

i am wondering if this is normal

thanks

Why negative current is coming in a switch? Probably you need to provide the new diagram, along with the driving circuit.

i only test the converter with an open loop, just give voltage pulse directly to the nmos and pmos switch.
