Hi,

Is there a way of performing a simulation with Quartus II without a delay being applied to the output of a particular gate. For example, if I simulate a two input AND gate, then on the waveform editor of quartus, there is a short delay before the output of the AND gate changes. Is there a way to simulate without internal delays being applied by the simulator?

Please help.

Hi,

During simulation keep the simaniulation mode "Functional" instead of "Timing", so you will not gt any effect of internal delay in waveform.

Thanks..

HAK..

Hi,

Running the simulation in Functional mode solved my problem. Many Thanks!!!
