We work on a communication project (Monitoring of V5.X Signals) . In this project we have used one of the Infineon products in communication branch with part number PEF22554 (Quad Falc) but we have problem using this chip at Monitoring Mode. Besides, there isn’t enough information concerning cable type, distance and different required impedances in datasheets.
Bellow, I have mentioned the test conditions.
Test Conditions:
1-330Ω series resistance with receive line, referring to datasheet.
2-Registers LIM0=0x04 H , LIM1=0x00 H.
3-20m coaxial cable with resistance 75Ω.
With these conditions, E1 links weren’t synchronized and received packets were deficient. Besides, the circuit had server sensitivity to noise
I would really appreciate it if you could advise us at choosing appropriate components and values and setting related registers for Monitoring Mode operation.
