Hi,
Has anybody here experience with CAN designs for FPGA/ASIC?
I'd like to know how the licensing system with BOSCH works, if I want to use the CAN Controller in Opencores as one interface in my FPGA, do I have to call it something else instead of CAN Interface to avoid licensing...?
I have used in the past I2C devices (I think Philips owns I2C) and they were called something like 'device with 2-wire interface' 'I2C device...' I guess to avoid licensing issues, is that feasible with CAN? :?
Thanks in advance,
